ECC Staff

David A. Hoss (Primary Principal)
Mr. Hoss holds a Specialist Degree in Administration, a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Education. This is his 15th year at the Singapore American School. Mr. Hoss is the Principal of the Primary Division which includes Preschool through 2nd Grade. He believes strongly in creating a developmentally appropriate environment for all children.

Geri Johnson (E.C.C. Director/Speech Pathologist)
Ms. Johnson holds a Master of Science Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She has 20+ years of experience working in different school and family care settings. She most recently served as an instructor and clinical supervisor at the University of Hawaii.

Kenneth F. Schunk (Primary Deputy Principal)
Mr. Schunk holds a Master of Science Degree as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Schunk has 15 years of service at the Singapore American School. He first served as the elementary and middle school psychologist and for the last 9 years has served as the Primary Deputy Principal.

Matthew Steuer (Preschool Teacher)
Mr. Steuer possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in education from Wheelock College in Massachusetts. He has worked as an early childhood educator and a program coordinator in a number of international settings. His 15+ years of professional work experience include working at the Singapore American School since 2001.

Kathleen Morris (Preschool Teacher)
Mrs. Morris possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the University of South Florida. She comes to SAS with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of childhood levels from Preschool through 2nd grade.

Kristine White (Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)
Ms. White possesses a Master's Degree as well as a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Music from Illinois. She has worked with a variety of different age ranges in the area of music therapy. She is a talented musician and has served as a Preschool teacher at the Singapore American School since 2003.

Tracy Rops (Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)

Nancy Devine (Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)
Mrs. Devine possesses a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Southern Maine. She has taught at a wide range of early childhood levels from Pre-kindergarten through 2nd Grade. She presently teaches Pre-kindergarten and has been with the Singapore American School since1994.

Heidi L'Heureux (Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)
Mrs. L'Heureux possesses a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Maine. She has taught at a variety of childhood levels from Pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade. She most recently served as an ESOL teacher. She has been with the Singapore American School since1996.

Kiran Randhawa (Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)
Mrs. Randhawa possesses a Bachelor of Education Degree from the Perth, Australia. She has taught at a number of different early childhood levels at schools in Singapore and Australia. Mrs. Randhawa has been with the Singapore American School since 1995.

Julie Villers (Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)
Mrs. Julie Villers obtained her teaching credentials in Chartres, France in 1998. Mrs. Villers taught Kindergarten for three years, at the International School of the Peninsula, Palo Alto, CA., to French children and American children immersed in a French language program. She taught pre-kindergarten in the Shanghai Community International School for two years before joining SAS this year.

William H. Hanagan (Elementary Level School Psychologist)
Mr. Hanagan holds a Master of Education in School Psychology and two post graduate certificates one in School Psychology and the other in Neuropsychological Assessment. He has been a National Certified school Psychologist since 1988. He as worked in school in Singapore and the United States at all levels, primarily as a school psychologist but also as a teacher, social worker and counselor.

Geoffrey Rodocker (Perceptual Motor)
Mr. Rodocker possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hope College in Michigan. He also holds USA national athletic licenses from the NSCAA and USSF. Mr. Rodocker has 7+years of experience as a director of youth athletics programs and coaching.

Shuna Sun (Mandarin)
Shuna possesses a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in English Education, and Diplomas in Chinese Language & Literature, Foreign Trade English and English Education. Her experience includes teaching English to Chinese students (age 7-14 years) and Mandarin to students in International schools (ages 4-11 years).
